Chiropractic Physician with a special interest in Sports Medicine and
Non-Invasive treatments for Myofascial injuries. Dr. Barone completed his
undergraduate training at the University of Arizona, in Tucson AZ, before
continuing on to chiropractic school. He graduated from the University of
Western states, in Portland Oregon, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic
(DC) degree. He is currently licensed in Arizona and is also Board Certified in
Physiotherapy.
Dr. Barone practices in
a multidisciplinary medical clinic called Integrative Medical Associates. He
currently serves Tucson and Oro Valley with Chiropractic Care, Physiotherapy,
and Sports Medicine services. In addition to Chiropractic adjustments, Dr.
Barone has advanced training in Physiotherapy, and is one of only 3
Chiropractors in Tucson certified in the Graston Technique. This therapy is
used to treat acute Myofascial injures as well as Chronic Pain and soft tissue
dysfunction. By integrating these soft tissue therapies into his practice Dr.
Barone is able to get patients out of pain quickly; while making the necessary
permanent changes in the muscles and joints to prevent the injury from
returning. Dr. Barone feels it is equally important to address the muscular
portion of most injuries, rather than focusing only on the spine.
