just got these swim socks not for swimming but for pain. they help my foot anf leg pain. they have non skid soles so you dont need shoe. i wear them everywhere.....pal pete

oh i forgot to mention i wear cotton socks under the swim sock. one reason in my opinion they help the pain is that they are very warm. so warm in fact i've worn them outside in snow. also they seem to take away vibration that for me helps the pain. 
i have a very wide foot and they work well for me but if your foot is narrow you might find another brand.....pal pete
