Hello all!!

My sister is troubled with constant pain on both legs. She is troubled with heavy pain while sitting. She is taking evening classes through online and due to this, she is not able to continue her classes. Last two days she couldn't take classes and she is totally tensed. When I discussed this with my bf he suggested me about a clinic in Mississauga which provides the spinal decompression treatment. I just went through a blog about the spinal decompression therapy. Burt I didn't get much idea on this as it was full of medical terms. Can someone share your knowledge on this?

I’m afraid that without more knowledge of what this particular clinic offers, I can’t provide much help. There are places that erroneously report being able to do decompression surgery on an out patient basis and this raises all sorts of red flags.

It’s important that your sister be evaluated by a very good spinal surgeon to determine the exact extent of her problems and what he or she recommends. Most of these surgeries are of a major nature. They can’t be successfuly done “quickly “ unless there’s little damage in the patients spine.

Please donate to help continue to help others.

My journey with chronic pain began over 30 years ago, while as a young nurse working spinal rehab, I injured my back lifting a patient. I am now fused from L2-S1. I have multiple thoracic and cervical issues. I'm a retired RN/PA and I know and understand the frustrations on both ends of the treatment spectrum of dealing with CP. It's been my goal since 2008, when we started this site, to reach out and help as many people in pain as possible. We will continue the fight as long as we can. Please, if you can help us continue to help you and others, donate. Thank you.
