Amy-----

I will be glad to hit the "like" button on your FB page.  Please know that we do have a Page on FB also.  We don't do actual postings there about CP, it is a way to help people find our website for help and support.  So, please add us to your page, and let others know that we are here Big smilehttps://www.facebook.com/ChronicPainSitecom-221933994884/timeline/

Please donate to help Chronicpainsite.com continue to help others.

My journey with chronic pain began over 30 years ago, while as a young nurse working spinal rehab, I injured my back lifting a patient. I am now fused from L2-S1. I have multiple thoracic and cervical issues. I'm a retired RN/PA and I know and understand the frustrations on both ends of the treatment spectrum of dealing with CP. It's been my goal since 2008, when we started this site, to reach out and help as many people in pain as possible. We will continue the fight as long as we can. Please, if you can help us continue to help you and others, donate. Thank you.

thank you i will add your link to the pinned post as well as to here.

i am (like most of you probably are) fed up of the "she's moaning about pain again", and "she never does anything" and "it cant be that bad" comments from people who dont battle through on a daily basis.

I put a post on your Facebook article right after Ken - and I was pleased to do so

We have a list of 65 things people have said - and no doubt repeated - about our pain and our tablets and their own misery and self-righteousness can only be excused by their ignorance I guess - but it is very hard when we know how much pain we are in and how it corrodes so much of our lives

I am sure everyone one of us puts as much into living their lives as they can - on bad days I feel that I am lazy and I know I am not - but having pain really does steal our quality of life - and this is so hard - and we do not need to be criticized

But alas - we can't help other people - they are who they are - just as we are who we are.

I think what you did and wrote your article on Facebook was an excellent thing - and thank you so much for starting it
