Hi All.Wink  I'm new here so I hope I am doing this correctly.
I have had a pain in my chest for nearly a year at first they thought it was a heart attack but after having all the tests they said they did not know what is was, but it was possibly a neuropathic referred pain, but they do not know where it is referred from. The other day I saw an advert for a pen called PAINGONE +  does any one know anything about this product and does it work. DELBOY.

Hi D and welcome.

I've never heard of this product but would hesitate to use anything without understanding exactly what is causing the pain. It could be any number of things----costochondritis comes to mind---

If they believe its neurogenic in nature, did you have shingles by any chance? Did you try something like Gabapentin or Lyrica? Can you describe what the pain feels like and what makes it worse or better?

My journey with chronic pain began over 30 years ago, while as a young nurse working spinal rehab, I injured my back lifting a patient. I am now fused from L2-S1. I have multiple thoracic and cervical issues. I'm a retired RN/PA and I know and understand the frustrations on both ends of the treatment spectrum of dealing with CP. It's been my goal since 2008, when we started this site, to reach out and help as many people in pain as possible. We will continue the fight as long as we can. Please, if you can help us continue to help you and others, donate. Thank you.

I was told that I have costochondritis.  Is the pain deep inside or just beneath the surface?  How about GERD, or acid reflux and a hiatal hernia?
Ankylosing spondylitis resulting in fusion of entire cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and SI joints, osteoporosis, 5 compression fractures, severe stenosis of spinal cord & nerve root compression, cervical myelopathy, radiculopathy, bruise & permanent deformation of spinal cord, incomplete spinal cord injury, postlaminectomy syndrome of cervical region, chronic nerve and orthopedic severe pain, and bilateral carpal tunnel. Asthma, GERD, high blood pressure, high tryglycrides, diverticulosis, recurrent pneumonia, anemia, hypertension, chronic dry eye and mouth. Need hip & knee replacement and fusion of both feet. Already had 11 surgeries including 5 orthopedic & 1 neurosurgery.

Hi All. No I never have had shingles and the pain is just under the skin it feels like I have been kicked there. Costochondritis has given some thing else to think about.

Hi. Paingone is a pain relief pan that works on the (TENS) principle but is hand held. I tried Lyrica as well as a couple of others and have just gone onto Gabapentin lets see if that works.
