My name is Denise I Have lived in pain for 29 years just weeks away from my 60th birthday. On 10/09/1988 my life forever changed, I was a single mom with a lot of dreams for my life. I always believed that if you give a 110% to what every you do or who you work for, it will come back to you in a positive way. Well never dreamed I would injure myself, working I blew out my disc L-4 L-5 S-1, and it only took 6 year of battling with a no fault insurer. State of California workers compensation fund. to get the medical care necessary that I was entitled to! well the damage was done and when I was fused with bolts and screws, and bone graph of my hip. so even though I had Won a medical Award. SCIF does not Honor anything! second re-fusion because the first one broke leaving me with half fused the other half not. I suffer with Fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, D.D.D., tumor in my thoracic,Neuropathy, and disc bugles from my lumbar to my cervical, and a Cancer Survivor. I WILL NOT STOP FIGHTING FOR US. Lot of love to all of you

Hi Denise,

What a sad story. I’m so sorry that fate gave you this terrible pain. It’s just not fair! But you are among friends who also deal with pain all day every day. Have a good look around the site. There’s endless support for you here and lots of useful information. I look forward to getting to know you.

Hugs,

I also said that the person he put in charge of this so called Commission, is not looking at the big picture! this one size fits all attitude is criminal to say the least. Oh also can anyone tell me how do I change my avatar pic to one out of my gallery? happy turkey day enjoy the tryptophan because they might take that away too..oh I had better keep quite LOL

Denise—-

John our Sysop can help you with your Avatar if you need it. Please mail him your pic at Admin@chronicpainsite.com.

I promise to get back to you when I can. Thank you for joining us and fighting for our rights.

Please donate to help Chronicpainsite.com continue to help others.

My journey with chronic pain began over 30 years ago, while as a young nurse working spinal rehab, I injured my back lifting a patient. I am now fused from L2-S1. I have multiple thoracic and cervical issues. I'm a retired RN/PA and I know and understand the frustrations on both ends of the treatment spectrum of dealing with CP. It's been my goal since 2008, when we started this site, to reach out and help as many people in pain as possible. We will continue the fight as long as we can. Please, if you can help us continue to help you and others, donate. Thank you.
